  HOW DOES IT WORK?

Overview

Newsroom is a web-based application that lets users promote their Organization/services and manage the outcomes of each promotion and mail out.

Although E-Newsletters are a very good and cost effective way of informing clients and promoting services if they are not managed correctly it could also work against the Organization or the services you are trying to promote.

Newsroom integrates with your existing website by allowing visitors to subscribe to your newsletter. Their details are stored in your Newsroom account and can be used for future mail outs. Newsroom also lets you add to your recipients list by importing lists directly into the Newsroom database

How it works

Newsroom lets you create and store templates so future newsletters can be created based on the original. You may want to create and save your own template by adding your flavour to one of our existing templates. You may also contact us as we can help design a template based on your website.

  1. To create your newsletter first select the type of template you wish to base it on, and then upload any images you want to use within your newsletter.
  2. The image library is a storage facility for you to store the images you might want to use within your newsletter. Upload these by simply giving the image a name and using the browse button to select the image you want. After all your required images have been uploaded you are ready to start adding the content. Only image files (.gif .bmp .jpg) less than 200kb can be uploaded successfully from your own files.
  3. Newsroom will display your selected template in edit mode so the content and images can be added into the newsletter.
  4. Send out the newsletter to the targeted contacts by selecting categories that you have predefined and grouped.
Cost

There is no cost for composing, editing and managing newsletters, managing recipients or uploading images. You are charged only when you send out newsletters. It costs 1 credit for each recipient you send to and 100 credits if you want to publish the newsletter on the web.

Credits are purchased on a prepay basis from our secure online payment page; these credits never expire and can be used when required. Each credit costs NZD$0.10 or roughly USD$0.07. You need to ensure you have enough credits before you can send out or publish the newsletter.
