Introducing Fundraiser Version 7.0

FUNDRAISER Version 7.0 - New Release!
In our last newsletter we announced the upcoming release of Fundraiser version 7.0. This version is now available and those that have seen it are raving about it. About 45% of the current version has been totally rewritten and now offers some of the best features available by any vendor anywhere!!

The new version comes bundled with lots of new features - one being a more powerful Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) that allows you to handle communities and relationships in great detail.

A new Mail Centre has been designed to allow more specific mailing behaviours for contacts. You can now select what type of mail a contact is to receive and how they would like to receive it. The Mail Centre also controls no-mail contacts much more effectively. You can tell Fundraiser not to Mail to that contact until a certain date. The Mail Centre totally removes the need to run complex excludes for removing no-mail contacts.

A big Part of Fundraiser's success is the fact that Infosoft is always investing time and resource on research and development. This is an important factor because we believe clients using our solutions should be taking advantage of the latest technologies and therefore being more competitive in the market place.

This release is an important milestone for Infosoft because it is our focus and goal to make the Fundraiser suite easier to use by removing any complexities. Our primary objective with this release was to try make every user a power-user. This is another big step in that direction and we feel that our product is now not only the best available in this part of the world but is now the best value and best performing Fundraising Database product available anywhere.

We have also modified the user interface to make it far easier to use than the existing interface. We have given the toolbar a new look and we have arranged the Fundraiser Explorer Tree better. Those who use Microsoft Outlook 2003 will be familiar with the new interface. A full description of all changes in this version will be available on our website very soon.

FUNDRAISER FEATURES UPDATE
There has been various updates to Fundraiser during the past few months. We have enhanced existing functionality and added lots of new features. Some main ones are:

Fundraiser Importer:
We have made some major changes to Fundraiser's Importer. You can now import multiple contact groups and transaction information. The duplicate checker has also been enhanced.

Fundraiser Emailer - Sending Letters via Email Bug Fixed:
Some users using the emailing function to email might of had a problem when trying to send multiple letter emails. This problem only happens on some PC's where the Microsoft winsock component is not up to date. This is a Microsoft issue that we have resolved in the latest version. Fundraiser Map:
The Fundraiser Today page is the first page that opens when you open Fundraiser. This page will change soon giving users more information such as an online knowledge base with tips etc. This new page links directly with our eCommerce Change Control System, which will list changes/fixes to the system when they have been completed. This will only be available in Fundraiser 7.0.

Fundraiser De-duper:
Identifies duplicates from your system - you set how thorough the checker needs to be. Great for that clean up before big mail outs. The De-Duper will only be available in Fundraiser 7.0.

NZ POST CODE CHANGES
NZ Post is planning some changes to the post coding system in New Zealand these changes will affect you especially if your organisation depends on bulk mail discounts for mailing. Infosoft has been talking to NZ Post and will have an update available for version 7 of Fundraiser. Unfortunately there will be a charge for this as NZ Post are imposing a $3000 dollar a year fee. This change only applies to New Zealand users and does not affect users in other countries.

FUNDRAISER HAS GONE GLOBAL
The Fundraiser Suite is now used in New Zealand, Australia, Asia and The United States. Strong sales growth in the past 6 months has resulted in considerable growth in the company - we have been employing new staff and are still on the hunt for more! Qualified software developers and support staff please get in touch with us!

A fully web based version will follow late 2006. This project is well underway and we expect the new web version to be very well received. Our current web version will be replaced with this fully featured version.
