NEW FEATURES 2007
Fundraiser version 7.0 has some exciting new features which we will be releasing soon. We are also working on some other modules that we plan to make available early in 2007. Version 7 now has the RFM (Recency, Frequency and Monetary) model as a part of release 2. The RFM model is a scoring system that scores a donors value based on a combination of the three elements. These scores can then be segmented and incorporated into mail outs and reports etc.
Release 3 is due in January 2007 and has a number of significant changes to Fundraiser Contact Management System and has some new additional features like the Media Centre, Event management and Barcoding.
The Media Centre is a new section with features that allow users to store existing media files, scan documents directly from Fundraiser and store into Fundraiser's database. Fundraiser will detect your scanner automatically. Files such as images, sounds, documents and movies can be stored and viewed from Fundraiser.
Barcoding will be very useful for those organisations requiring fast bulk processing. Fundraiser simply creates a barcode strip for each appeal letter. The encyped code contains all the information to create a transaction. Barcoding is not bundled with Fundraiser - it is an optional module but will be available as an option for those that have installed Release 7.3. The Barcoding Module costs $2990 plus GST. This includes one handheld scanner and required Barcode Fonts.
